A family house

30 years of craftsmanship, a family story.

Since 1996, COLOMBUS has grown around one shared passion: the dining table. A family adventure that became a manufacture in Wattrelos, near Lille and the Belgian border.

In Wattrelos, Hauts-de-France, we design and manufacture exceptional dining tables combining 6 mm ceramic, signature bases and extensive customisation possibilities.

A beautiful table begins long before it reaches your dining room. In our Wattrelos workshop, the bases are prepared, welded, sanded and lacquered with the same care given to visible details and those that reveal themselves over time.

Manufacturer, not importer

Made in Wattrelos, not imported.

COLOMBUS is neither a reseller nor an importer: we are the manufacturer, and nothing is subcontracted abroad.

Imported tables, generally

  • A glass top with a thin layer of ceramic glued on
  • Much more fragile and unpleasant in daily use: they sound hollow and are noisy
  • An unattractive extra thickness

Before choosing your table.

A COLOMBUS table is chosen for years to come. Here are the answers to the questions we are most often asked before a project.

What budget should I plan for a COLOMBUS table?

Our dining table collection starts at €2,245 incl. VAT in the indicative 2026 price list. The price varies according to the model, dimensions, ceramic and options. Every project is confirmed by quotation.

Where are the tables made?

The tables are designed and made in our manufacture in Wattrelos, near Lille. The bases are prepared, welded, sanded and finished in our workshop.

Can I choose the shape and dimensions?

Yes. Rectangular, oblong, barrel, oval, round or asymmetric Stone shapes: we offer standard formats and also study bespoke dimensions, including very large formats depending on the ceramic. Please note: in an extendable version (with extensions), only rectangular, rectangular with rounded corners and square shapes are offered.

What is the manufacturing lead time?

The indicative lead time is around 8 weeks for a standard configuration, depending on material availability and workshop workload. The actual lead time is confirmed with the quotation. An urgent order can be handled, provided the chosen ceramic is in stock.

Can I see the tables before ordering?

Yes. Our 3,000 m² workshop and 900 m² factory showroom in Wattrelos let you discover our production environment, see the tables at full scale, compare ceramics and choose finishes. We recommend contacting us before your visit.

How does delivery work?

Displayed prices are ex-works. Delivery in France and Europe is quoted according to destination and access conditions. Collection from the manufacture is free.

Are your tables made in France, or imported?

They are made in our workshop in Wattrelos: COLOMBUS is the manufacturer, neither a reseller nor an importer, and nothing is subcontracted abroad. Imported tables are generally a glass top covered with a thin glued layer of ceramic: they sound hollow and are noisy in use. Our tables follow a specific manufacturing process: they do not sound hollow and remain very slim in appearance.

How do I clean a ceramic table?

A microfibre cloth and a common cleaning product of the Sanytol type, sold in supermarkets, is all it takes.

Does ceramic scratch or break?

Ceramic is one of the most resistant materials for a tabletop: very resistant to scratches, heat and stains. A microfibre cloth with a common cleaning product of the Sanytol type is all it takes to maintain it.

Do you offer tables with extensions?

Yes, several of our models exist in an extendable version, with extensions in the same ceramic as the top (rectangular, rectangular with rounded corners and square shapes). Once the extensions are removed, you would never guess it is an extendable table: our system is invisible.

Can I buy remotely with confidence?

Yes. We deliver in France and across Europe; in France and Belgium, our team assembles and installs the table. And our 900 m² showroom welcomes you by appointment to see the tables in person.
